Day 01: GUWAHATI – SHILLONG SIGHTSEEN
After arrival at Guwahati Airport or Railway Station, assistance and warm traditional welcome by our representative and transfer to Shillong. Shillong, also known as ‘The Scotland of the East is the capital city of Meghalaya. En route, you will visit the largest manmade lake in Northeast India – Umium Lake. Reaching Shillong after 3 hours journey (approximately), we check in at a city Hotel. After freshening up visit the Cathedral of Marry & the Polo Ground. Evening free for leisure or for shopping in the famous Police Bazaar in Shillong. Overnight in Shillong.
Day 02: SHILLONG – DAWKI – MAWLYNNONG – SHILLONG
Wake up early and have your breakfast and drive to Mawlynnong. Today you can explore the cleanest village Mawlynnong in the world. You can take the skywalk. Spectacular view of the living Root Bridge. After lunch drive to Dawki. Dawki is the gateway to Bangladesh where major export and import transactions take place. it is a splendid drive of 45 kilometers passing through deep gorges and ravines, which is certainly a thrilling experience. On approaching Dawki is the Umngot river, the Umngot river is the natural boundary between Ri Pnar or Jaintia Hills with Hima Khyrim of Khasi hills over which a single-span suspension bridge was constructed. Later back to Shillong. Overnight at Shillong.
Day 03: SHILLONG- CHERRAPUNJEE SIGHTSEEN- GUWAHATI
The morning after breakfast drive to Cherrapunjee which is famed for being the wettest place in the world. After a drive of 1 ½ hour amid pine trees and mists, we reach Cherrapunjee. Cherrapunjee possesses some exotic waterfalls and impressive limestone caves. In Cherrapunji, we visit the Nohkalikai Falls, Seven sister falls, Mawsmai Caves, Rama Krishna Mission, Eco Park, and Thangkharang Park. Later back to Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 04: GUWAHATI – BOMDILA (270 KMS / 7.5hrs)
After breakfast drive to Bomdila.En route visit Tipi Orchidarium, a glass house with over 7500 Orchids. Overnight stay in Hotel in Bomdila.
Day 05: BOMDILA –TAWANG ( 180KMS / 5.5HRS)
In the morning visit the Kiwi & Apple Gardens. After viewing the beautiful valley of Dirang overlooking the river and inhabited by colorful tribes, proceed towards the Sela Pass (13703 ft) and spend some lovely time by the paradise lake. Reaching Tawang (143 km, 7hrs) check in at Hotel Overnight at Tawang.
Day 06: TAWANG SIGHTSEEN
After breakfast explore Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodge Gyaltso in 17th Century A.D. a contemporary of the fifth Dalai Lama. Evening free for leisure or shopping in the local market. Overnight at Hotel.
Day 07: TAWANG SIGHTSEEN
Today enjoy local sightseeing in Tawang. Visit Madurai lake, China Border, & The Tawang Gompa is definitely the high point of the town, with a commanding view of the splendid valleys beyond. Also, visit the War memorial. Evening free for shopping and leisure. Overnight in Tawang.
Day 08: TAWANG – DIRANG SIGHTSEEN (140KMS / 4.5HRS)
Early morning, drive to Jang to get a breathtaking view of waterfalls. Pay homage at the Jaswant Garh Indo-Chinese War Memorial and downhill drive (185km, 7hrs) to Dirang. Overnight at Hotel at Dirang.
Day 09: DIRANG to KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK ( 230 KMS / 6HRS)
After breakfast drive to Kaziranga National Park: In the heart of Assam, covering an area of 430 sq-km is inhabited by the world's largest population of one-horned rhinoceroses, as well as many mammals, including tigers, elephants, panthers, and bears, and thousands of birds. In 1985, it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO for its unique natural environment. Evening free for leisure. Overnight stay in Kaziranga.
Day 10: JUNGLE ACTIVITY AT KAZIRANGA NATIONAL PARK – GUWAHATI
After an early wake-up, you will be taken to the riding point in the Eastern Range for an Elephant Ride. After the ride returns back to the Hotel. After breakfast drive to the Central Range (Kohora) of the park for a jeep safari. Later check out from the Resort and visit Orchid Park, and Tea Garden later drive back to Guwahati. Overnight at Guwahati.
Day 11: GUWAHATI LOCAL SIGHtSEEING
Early Morning visits the famous Maa Kamakhya Temple on the Nilachal Hills (10kms) – a seat of the tantric cult in India and one of the 108 Shakti Pethas in the country. Return back to the hotel after breakfast and visits Sri Shankardeva Kalakshetra-a cultural center with a fine exposition of the life and culture of the people of Assam, Balaji Temple. Enjoy Brahmaputra Ropeway on the River Brahmaputra. Evening River Cruise on the mighty river Brahmaputra. Later explore the local market in Guwahati. Overnight in Guwahati.
Day 12: GUWAHATI AIRPORT
After breakfast Check out from the hotel and transfer to Guwahati airport for the onward journey.
